  2. Stress in steel bars considered is 230 N/mm2.

  2. Don't confuse this table with the Limit State Method values. In the limit-state approach, \(\sigma_s\) is generally taken as \(0.87f_y\), so the development lengths are substantially different. IS 456 Clause 26.2.1 gives the general development-length equation and the relevant bond stresses. For projects that require durable and easy-to-maintain surfaces, FRP can be a practical material choice for commercial, industrial, and interior applications.
